We had a great day today. Book orders and school pictures were distributed. We welcomed a new student today, and I am expecting a new student tomorrow.
While we were off track we lost two students. We will write letters to them in the next week or so, to let them know we will miss them.
We started an Open Court unit called "Shadows" this morning. Over the next few weeks, we will do some serious observing of shadows, and we will learn how they are made.
